Blog Entry 19-03-2025
Hi everyone!
WOW, I'm both incredibly happy and tense at the same time, and I'm also looking forward to soon having a normal life again— what I designed for myself with AI. For over a week now, I’ve been working manically from morning till night on my video for my upcoming GoFundMe campaign at next Saturday.
And as I'm writing this, the second-to-last render of the video is happening in the background !!!
That means next Saturday is looking good for launching my GoFundMe campaign!
The video has taken almost four weeks of work in total — from concept development to scriptwriting, to gathering all the footage from conventions, reformatting everything, creating the mosaic, composing the music... (here a preview)
...and the filming itself (which alone took four days).
...and the video editing (which took around five days as well).
...plus over 100 crashes, because even 64GB of RAM was pushed to its limits, and I was demanding the near-impossible. Massive respect to all video editors out there — your craft is something I'll never master, you are true artists!
For over a week now, I've dropped everything else. My place is a total mess, I haven’t done any sport (I actually miss it!), barely studied English — even this text had to be corrected by AI today — and I’ve eaten ridiculously little.
One moment I was in front of the camera, the next I was editing, then setting up and taking down the green screen (about five times because I wasn’t happy with the footage and had to reshoot).
I really wonder how they manage it in Hollywood & and elsewhere?!
Anyway, today I just need to fine-tune the voice audio, possibly adjust the overdub, add German subtitles for my German fans... and then the video should be finished TODAY—WOOHOO!!
That means tomorrow I can focus entirely on the campaign,
and by next Saturday, everything will be live!
And so, starting gently today, but fully from tomorrow — I’ll finally have a "normal" life again! Let's rock! 🎸🚀
