🔥 Support us on our UK journey on Indiegogo 🔥

Blog Entry 02-04-2025

Phew – rough night, not much sleep. Played Schedule1 until 2am 😅 – but the game totally rocks! (If you’ve got the game too – hit me up, let’s play together!)

I had to delete last weekend’s Mirror’s Edge livestream – the quality was rubbish. I recently reinstalled my system and forgot to reconfigure OBS, so it was all on default settings. Oh well – still a fun evening. Next time with proper setup!

But what’s really happening right now is my Indiegogo campaign!
Even though it's still in the warm-up phase and most people are waiting for my Arts Council UK endorsement (T minus 21 days!), I already have 7 backers and have raised €300! - WOW – thank you so much, everyone! ❤️

I’ve managed to get into a decent campaign routine – I spend about 3–6 hours on promotion every other day.

Here’s the plan:
- Tuesday = UK contacts
- Wednesday = Blog
- Thursday = Social media
- Friday = People outside of Indiegogo
- Saturday = WhatsApp groups

And to be honest: without AI support, this would take three times as long – and I’d be completely burnt out by now. Thanks, ChatGPT!

Yesterday I stopped by the Caritas Youth Centre in Cologne, where my VR painting & music workshop kicks off next week. I dropped off some banners and checked the location – super excited for this!
There’ll be another youth centre in Bonn starting in April, and both workshops run until June. Thanks to NRW funding, they’ll bring in around €7,500 – sounds like a lot? Well, it all goes straight into covering my UK visa costs. That’s also why I’m running the Indiegogo campaign – to fund the move from Bonn to Birmingham properly.

Fun fact:
Did you know you can download all my music – and even my own video game – completely free via my Indiegogo page? Just click “Buy” on the Bandcamp links, enter 0, and you’re good to go – or just stream it there.

One thing I’ve really noticed again this week: I’m somewhere between introvert and extrovert. I love working with people – but sending 20+ custom messages on promo days totally drains me. I know it’s necessary, and I genuinely care about everyone – but my introvert battery runs out fast. Bloody brain!

If all goes well, I’ll be in the UK very soon! - I’ll start off living in a house share via SpareRoom, and then plan to gig three times a week – super exciting, but also quite the mental challenge (my f... introvert brain).

This week there weren’t many photos or videos – spent most of the time at my desk. Slowly finding my rhythm though. So I asked ChatGPT: "How was my week?" (Wie war meine Woche?) And it gave me this AI-generated image:

Sheesh... well I don’t actually look that down – and I’m definitely not that gloomy. It’s just a big mix of things, and that’s hard to capture in a single picture.
But hey – life’s no pony ride, right? And success takes hard graft.
The spotlight, the glam – I’ll earn it. (hammers metaphorically on the anvil)

Bye – see you next Wednesday! 👋
